Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
By submitting your entry to the Saraswati Sahitya Samman, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. This initiative is organized and presented by Art N Culture to celebrate and recognize excellence in Indian literature. 

2. Eligibility
• The competition is open worldwide to writers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Employees, associates, and affiliates of Art N Culture are not eligible to participate.
• By entering, participants confirm that they are eligible to submit literary works and entitled to receive any awards granted.
• Submissions must be original works authored solely by the entrant. Plagiarized, offensive, or inappropriate content will lead to disqualification.

3. Entry & Payment
• Each participant may submit one entry per category.
• The entry fee is INR 1,000 per submission.
• The entry fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

4. Categories
Entries are accepted in the following categories:
• Poetry
• Short Stories
• Essays & Articles
• Novels & Fiction Writing
• Drama / Playwriting
Entries are welcome in all Indian languages and English. 

5. Awards & Recognition
• Cash Prizes INR. 3,00,000
• Certificates of Excellence
• Publication & Media Recognition through Art N Culture platforms
• Opportunities to be featured in literary discussions, events, and digital showcases
Important Notes:
• Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, with no cash alternatives.
• In case of unforeseen circumstances, Art N Culture reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
• The jury’s decision is final and binding on all participants. 

6. Winner Selection & Notification
• Winners will be chosen by an expert literary jury.
• Notifications will be sent via the email address provided during registration.
• Art N Culture will make two attempts to contact each winner.
• Failure to respond within 14 days of the second email will result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner may be selected.

7. Delivery of Awards
• Winners should allow up to 14 days for cash awards or certificates to be delivered.
• Alternative arrangements may be made upon mutual agreement.

8. Data Protection & Publicity
• By entering, participants grant Art N Culture the right to use their submitted works (in whole or part) for promotional and exhibition purposes.
• Selected entries will be featured online via Art N Culture’s website and social media channels.
• Winners’ names and countries of residence may be published publicly on Art N Culture platforms.

9. Limitation of Liability
Art N Culture accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment incurred by participants in connection with the competition or awards.

10. General Provisions
• Art N Culture reserves the right to cancel, modify, or amend the Saraswati Sahitya Samman, including these terms and conditions, at any time without prior notice.
• Submission of an entry implies acceptance of these terms in full.
